There has been a lot of attention in the media recently concerning communicating with unseen forces by using a flashlight. It is thought that a flashlight can be adjusted to the point of almost being turned on and the unseen force can activate it. Through this means, it is believed that valid communications can be achieved.
To test this idea, we will construct a device to accurately measure the distance that is bridged to complete the circuit and thus activate the flashlight. It is theorized that if unknown forces are acting on the device the air gap will exceed the normal gap that a fixed power source can bridge.
